‘Fanboys’ pushed… again!
Yes, that is Kristin Bell
I know how you feel guys… I am upset and pounding down the doors for this damn movie to finally come out as well.
‘Fanboys’ was supposed to come out in August of 2007, and then got pushed back to early 2008 because they had to re-shoot some scenes. Then the movie got pushed to August of 2008 because of the alternating plot lines, one with a cancer plot, and one without. EVERYONE wanted the plot to be left alone with the best friend who has cancer, so they decided to go with that and scheduled the movie to come out November 26th 2008. Well NOW the film has a brand new release date, February 6th 2009. Holy shit man! I don’t think this movie will ever get release and might meet the direct to DVD doom.
The Weinstein’s have no idea what theyr’e doing. I’m guessing if “Z&M” makes them a substantial profit at the box office, they might reconsider pushing back “Fanboys”.
I honestly lost faith in this flick getting a theatrical release.

Notorious Trailer
Notorious
The first full length trailer for Notorious has been released by Apple.
In just a few short years, The Notorious B.I.G. rose from the streets of Brooklyn to become one of the most influential hip hop artists of all time. B.I.G. was a gifted storyteller; his narratives about violent life on the streets were told with a gritty, objective realism that won him enormous respect and credibility. His stories were universal and gave a voice to his generation.
Yo Gabba Gabba … first ever children’s show for Hipsters

So what’s the point of this show? Are we trying to seamlessly slip in Hipster innuendos and amass an army of counter cultural ALT Hipsters? “Yo Gabba Gabba”, a show created by two Hipster’s in their thirties, intentionally targeting this multimedia phenomenon, to not only preschoolers, but their respective hipster parents, siblings, lower east side inhabitants, left wing celebrity guests, and anyone that believes it’s sacrilege to shop anywhere else other than Urban Outfitters and American Apparel.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the show… I mean, any kiddie show that features the Ting Tings and Cut Copy is definitely put on a pedestal. I could have sworn I saw Wes Anderson in one of the episodes – It doesn’t get any more hipster oriented than that.
Is it worth your child’s time? Well, for starters it has an awesome electro, hip-hop soundtrack that only masterfully adds to the campy premise of the show. Do you want your kid to be self-reliant, self-righteous, pretentious, trendy, non-complacent, and a non conforming beast to a conservative society? If you do, then by all means tune in.

Desperate times…

It is a measure of Republican desperation that they are starting to use the argument that America should not place the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives all in the hands of the Democrats at the same time because that would leave Barack Obama free to exercise power without checks and balances.
It is the kind of argument you deploy only when you are trying to limit the scale of the loss and have given up all hope of winning.
The GOP lost steam and now their resorting to instilling fear into the hearts of ignorant America. Break the status quo!
Hater’s showing face to Bloomberg’s third extension

NY Mayor, Michael Bloomberg
Mr. Bloomberg, who once called an attempt to ease term limits “disgraceful,” is pushing legislation that would allow him, council members and most other elected city officials to serve three consecutive four-year terms rather than two. Allies say he has enough support to pass it on Thursday.
If he does prevail, the victory may carry a cost to his reputation.
Advocates and voters said they have become deeply disillusioned by the way Mr. Bloomberg is corralling support to rewrite the city’s term limits law, which New Yorkers have endorsed twice in citywide referendums.
The disenchantment with Mr. Bloomberg runs especially deep among his former aides and advisers at City Hall. In interviews, five of them said they had been surprised and unsettled by the mayor’s tactics. “It stinks of clubhouse politics,” said one former aide. “It’s not like him.”
