Murray Open To Ghostbusters 3

Somewhere, Ray Parker Jr. is smiling.

Bill Murray told reporters that he’s open to reprising his Ghostbusters role of Dr. Peter Venkman in a proposed third movie.

“The third one could happen,” Murray said in a news conference in New York on Oct. 3.

Oil Plummets… is this good or bad?

without comments

Oil prices plummeted to a one-year low below $83 a barrel Friday in Asia as investor fears of a severe global economic downturn sparked a panicked sell-off of equities and crude.

Light, sweet crude for November delivery was down $4.35 to $82.24 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange by midday in Singapore, the lowest since October 2007. The contract overnight fell $1.81 to settle at $86.62.

This is actually a good thing… Isn’t it? Cheaper gas prices at the pump = more money in driver’s pockets.

Will the Real Sarah Palin please stand up

with 3 comments

VS

The prospect of the vice presidential candidate meeting her lookalike comes after she told reporters she would love to appear on the show.

The Republican said: “I love her, she’s a hoot and she’s so talented. It would be fun to meet her, imitate her and keep on giving her new material.”

She’s a hoot? Ok, the cornfest has definitely become a gimmick and Palin is definitely milking it. Can’t say I blame her. A good friend of mine also said Barack, was a walking gimmick himself, can’t say I disagree with the man. But this is a prime example of what modern politics has become unfortunately, it’s all about gimmick, and this will eventually determine who will stride into the oval office come November. Television is no longer an entertaining novelty in America, it’s become an essential tool in the political war zone. As noted in the article if Palin makes it to SNL, she will snag a few more votes. Is this fair? No. But it’s definitely not an unprecedented move. Barack, purchased a half hour of network time, is this fair game? No, but he’s Barack so I’m going to pretend it is.

Not into modern architecture much, but this is just too beautiful

Take a gander at these ladies and gents! Could this be the future of housing? Build a few of these and I’m sure the downturn will slowly recede into faded memories.

Thanks for the visuals Yeezy.

Classy but still fresh … Shoes-Up x Lacoste Missouri

without comments

French sneaker magazine Shoes-Up has collaborated with Lacoste on the Missouri. Paying homage to the classic hat that is worn in France and Basque Lands, where René Lacoste is from, the sneaker comes entirely covered in wool. Matching the wool look, the Lacoste crocodile logo also comes in black rubber. The inner sole features the Shoes-Up crest logo. The outcome is one of the best Lacoste sneakers that we have seen this year, perfect for the fall season.

Custom made DeLorean… looks like a replica to me

without comments

I pulled this off geekologie apparently, it’s a custom made DeLorean, if you ask me, it’s an exact replica. It looks totally authentic, like literally the same prop from the flick. They got the flux capacitor to a “T”. I wonder if this is for sale. I guess the 80’s fandom is still alive and kicking, I would spend my life’s savings on this baby, well, this and the Ecto 1 of course.

Thanks…

Star Wars Hoodies make me giddy with fanboy joy

without comments

Ecko has a new line of hoodies out with a Star Wars theme. As you can see, the Stormtrooper and Boba Fett models are the awesome. Minus the $100 price tag. But still, I’ll take one if it, you know, fell of the back of a truck. I’m winking at you right now. Make that happen. Fine, I’ll actually pay. I’m gonna get the Stormtrooper one, and I’m gonna rock that shit all zipped down with the mask and all. I’ll let you know how laid I get.
